Panasonic Blu-ray Keyvisual

We were invited by Scholz & Volkmer to join the development of Panasonics new Keyvisual for printed media. In multiple drawing-sessions we approached a character that would fit in with the already existing ones of the Panasonic Blu-ray Mini-Webspecial. We created a big range of different idea-concepts which finally led to a superherolike “Blu-ray Fighter”, that was realized in 3d by Knicken Design. Estatic Fashion

YLF Design created the visual identity for the Fashionlabel Estatic. Our work included the development of the Brands whole Corporate Identity and its guidelines, aswell as the creation of a range of Designs for the first Screenprint-collection.

We were asked to design the visual identity for an italian wellfood kitchen called Momenti Unici.

Roller Automobile

YLF Design was asked to redesign the webappearance of an car dealer who is primarily specializing in mending and selling Volvo-cars. Moreover we developed a range of printing-solutions such as flyer, poster for the car dealership and new business cards, including the complete production of the design and photographies. The whole website was programmed inhouse, based on WordPress.

We were asked to design a poster for the upcoming Exhibition in the Schauraum Gallery of the Artfactory Worms. The abstract forms and ink-explosions are based on the rythm of Jazz – unpredictable and dynamic.

This year China was the guest of honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2009 and YLF Design was proud to contribute several poster and postcard designs. Also, we were very happy that one of our designs decorated the title of the Book Fair City-Special.

Meissen

An anonymous private collector of Meissen porcelain from Russia assigned us to document his collection photographically in a catalog for private auctions. The single porcelain master pieces were brought together from various museums, to which they were given to as a permanent loan. We managed the shooting of the unique figures and developed the visual style of the catalog.

The Holy Wood

The stunning magic of mother nature inspired Christian Kriegsheim to create a series of woodpictures with mixed analog techniques. The intention was to describe the captured structure via photography and then to work out an artisitic dialog through highlights and reduction. The results are acrylic pieces on canvas which will be shown in an upcoming exhibition with YLF Design.

Rojo Magazine

Rojo-Magazine from Sao Paulo invited Harry to publish some of his artwork in their limited edition book “Prana – Pure Solid True”. He elaborated a series of two, picturing a dark atmosphere in a mystic underwater-world with a mutated octopus as the main visual character. After several colored versions it finally became monochrome.

Newnique Magazine

Newnique is the autonomous magazine of the “communication design degree program” at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. We were intensively involved at the process of developing the magazine and had been members of the first editorial department. Moreover we elaborated the design of the first edition.

Super Power Plant

Super Power Plant wanted a new visual appearance along with their upcoming album “Dystopia”, which was completely recorded by Doc. Atmosfearcrush from the great Esc. Laboratory. YLF redesigned the logo and created the album artwork for the CD and LP. We also were responsible for the whole band photographs and also designed and programmed their web appearance. Responsible for the bands costumes and Makeup was Saskia Vollmer, who also leads the management of SPP.

The Incredible Firecacadoos

When it comes to great Rock’n'Roll of the 50′s and 60′s the way is leading straight to “The Incredible Firecacadoos”. We were asked to shoot portraits for press purpose and refresh their logo- and webdesign. In addition we created a poster, flyer and business card for the bands tour and booking management.

Obskuria – Burning Sea of Green

The psychedelic rock label World in Sound asked us to create the cover artwork for the second album of Obskuria “Burning Sea of Green”. Besides we developed the package design for the CD and LP, which is released in a strictly limited edition of 100 green vinyls.

Omega Code

The Omega Code project by Marcelo Baldin caused a furor during the last year. In addition to the 23 officially invited Designers like Joshua Davis, Nelson Balaban, Sebastian Onufszak, Mike Cina, Michael Paul Young, Christopher Hewitt, Tom Muller, Danny Franzreb, Motomichi Nakamura, João Oliveira, Si Scott or Umeric, there were almost 400 submissions from all over the world, showing their fanart of Omega Code. Twenty of them were chosen to be presented in the upcoming book by IdN, including our piece.

Aldiana is one of the leading premium holiday providers with clubs and hotels at the most beautiful places in the world made by Grupo Santana Cazorla and Thomas Cook AG. YLF Design was in charge to layout the cover of the 2010 summer catalog, where we worked on set photography assistance and realized the digital post production for Jens August Photography, the established photographer of Aldiana.

YLF Design supports many clubs in their visual communications. For the famous Cocoonclub in Frankfurt we created several posterdesigns such as the official “Timewarp Warmup Party” with Sven Väth or the “Organic Electronics Party” with André Galluzzi and Toni Rios. Beside the regularly posterdesigns we also created the visual appearance for the underground dance music event “Funk’N’Tronics”, just like the official logo and certain T-shirts. Harry was trying to sum up the memories of his past – where he came from, who influenced him the most and how this people took effect on his creative work and character. The whole research was used as the central basis to design a book about personal thoughts and experiences during the life from a creative child to an ambitious student.
